Flash Back, Flash Forward
Last night, upon surfing a retro patterns website, I found a 1974 top with a bib front and a ruffled tab collar (from the See and Sew series). This top had a familiar look to it.
Fast forward 36 years, top with a slightly larger bib front and a non-ruffled tab collar (Butterick 5555):
