Swirls Just Want To Have Fun

Earlier last year, Heather and I went to the Chipmunk Movie, the Squeakuel.  It was a cheerfully fun movie (I thought the original was better).  Here we are in our matching movie-goer outfits.

I made Heather's top from a Jalie 2804 pattern.

For my top, I used a seemingly hard-to-find Simplicity 5496 pattern from 1973, the year my sister was born.  I liked the "sweetheart" neckline and the sleeve options.  Instead of using a woven as recommended, I used a knit.  I was somewhat surprised how this pattern worked well with a knit...
