1968 Simplicity Princess Seamed Dress

Here's a 1968 Simplicity pattern for a mini dress - three versions.

I sewed the middle dress. I did not have much luck with this one. I did not finish the armholes and the neckline because the dress did not flatter me and the fabric had little runs that became larger runs! The strap did not flatter my figure!

I wonder how the dress would look like and how it would look like on me if the the pink and the the gray-green were switched.


Another choice of fabric would have made a better dress! This silky type of knit was difficult to work with! A poly knit would seem more appropriate!
